PiTangent partnered with the automotive industry to develop the 4 Screen Mobility Experience Cloud (MXC), a groundbreaking platform that seamlessly connects vehicles to the broader mobility ecosystem. This platform aimed to provide a standardized interface for real-time communication with drivers, enabling automakers and Mobility Service Providers (MSPs) to enhance their services and offer a more connected and integrated experience for drivers.

Fragmented Mobility Ecosystem: The mobility ecosystem was highly fragmented, with various automakers and MSPs using different systems and technologies, making it challenging to establish a standardized communication interface.

Real-Time Communication: Enabling real-time communication between vehicles and service providers posed technical challenges, especially in ensuring low latency and high reliability.

Diverse User Base: The platform needed to cater to a wide range of businesses, from small local shops to global brands, each with unique requirements and integration challenges.

Solution/Feature

Standardized API Interface: The development team leveraged React for the frontend and Strapi, MongoDB, and Node.js for the backend to create a flexible and scalable platform. The key solution was the 4 Screen API, which provided a standardized interface for communication with vehicles, making it easier for automakers and MSPs to integrate their services.
Real-Time Communication Infrastructure: To address real-time communication challenges, a robust and scalable infrastructure was set up using Node.js. This allowed for low-latency communication between vehicles and service providers, ensuring a seamless user experience.
