The initial goal of the client is to develop an AI-based HR chatbot for the company's internal portal. The chatbot should be capable of effectively answering employee queries. It should provide prompt and accurate responses to various HR-related inquiries, enhancing overall employee experience and reducing the burden on HR personnel. The chatbot should be user-friendly, adaptable, and capable of handling confidential information securely. Integration with the internal portal is essential for seamless accessibility and interaction.

During the development of the HR chatbot, our Data analytics experts faced challenges such as accurately capturing the diverse range of employee queries, training the LSTM neural network to understand the intent and provide appropriate responses, ensuring secure handling of confidential information, and seamlessly integrating the chatbot into the company's internal portal for smooth user accessibility and interaction.

A dataset containing expected questions, their intent, and the answers were created.1

The model (LSTM neural network) was trained using the dataset. Words were embedded before training. 2

Post-testing, the model was deployed as a retrieval-based chatbot along with a front end integrated with the company’s internal portal.3

Final Result

The final product is an intelligent retrieval-based chatbot powered by an LSTM neural network. We created a comprehensive dataset of questions, intents, and answers, which was used to train the model. With word embedding techniques, the model was trained to provide accurate responses. The chatbot was seamlessly integrated into the company's internal portal, enabling efficient and user-friendly interactions with users.
