Ziggma came to us with a simple yet one-of-a-kind idea. Hearing the idea didn’t give us much excitement in the initial phase as we didn’t think of people giving much importance to the management of their portfolio even if they are offering an automated one. But, Ziggma came to us with something different that many have never heard before. The way this client explained his ideas is like giving a sense of visualization to the listener. The dedication and excitement can be felt on the face of this client.

There is a simple objective yet highly effective, i.e. to manage the portfolio of this app users and make everything easier. The time consumed to manage a portfolio like Risk, Diversification, News, etc. can be checked by the use of the Ziggma app. The Ziggma has been built around a selection of portfolios, including the user’s real portfolio, that can be monitored and used for inspiration.

Also, the application has been further extended for stock research, where it is fulfilling its duties perfectly according to the offerings of the market.

Obstacles
to conquer

A most common challenge often faced with new clients is their demands and expression. They face difficulty in sharing their ideas for the project which make the entire demand vague. But that is not the case with Ziggma. As said, they have a crystal clear vision of their goal from day one which they shared with us perfectly. Also, they liked our ideas about the extra inputs that we shared about their application.

The only place where we had faced challenges was while connecting the user's real bank portfolios. We had tried different service providers that are available in the market like YODLEE, QUOVO, etc. to achieve the desired goal and finally decided to go with PLAID and their web service.

There are some unique functionalities that make this app stand out to the masses. We would like to highlight those points very much here.

One admin portal
One front-end part where users register themselves either as a free user or taking a premium membership after selecting plan based subscription. Once users registered themselves, they will get a pre-selected sample portfolio which is managed from the admin panel, user can then create their own virtual portfolios or link their real bank portfolio through a 3rd party service provider called "PLAID" and watch the portfolio movement on daily basis.
It also lists all popular US-based stocks with real-time pricing which comes from another API provider called "INTRINIO".
It also performs an analysis performance of each stock based on historical data that are kept and managed by Ziggma and collected from INTRINIO.

This helped the app user to find the specific section they are looking for instead of going through a bulk of pages.

The launch of the application was a success just like the development process. In just 2 months, more than 200 users registered and the number kept growing. The usability of the application is so smooth that many users went for paid subscriptions without a second thought.
